Leela Imam brings extensive expertise in program development, CSR, and strategic communications to her role at Smile Train, where she has been instrumental in shaping and expanding the organization's programs in South India over more than a decade of dedicated service.
Previously, Leela held a prominent role as the head of a Bangalore-based PR agency, where she successfully led high-profile campaigns for diverse clients. Prior to that, she served as a Program Manager at the British Council, specializing in transformative projects centered around renewable natural resources and distance-learning initiatives.
Since joining Smile Train in 2011, Leela has been passionately committed to enhancing the organization's presence and impact in South India. Her passion for Smile Train stems from her profound belief in the power of transforming the lives of children with clefts, bringing lasting smiles to their faces, and empowering them to lead fulfilling lives.
