Precilla Haokip
Helpline Officer
Precilla is a professional social worker with a Master’s degree in Social work, specialisation in Women-Centered Practice from TISS, Mumbai (2022–2024) and a Bachelor’s from the University of Delhi. Her experience spans children, gender inclusion, human rights, and strengthening agency for vulnerable groups.
She previously worked at Empower Foundation, Delhi, for a year as a Project Executive, supporting the Youvati app, a technology-based platform that strengthened livelihoods for women in micro, small, and medium enterprises and facilitated access to knowledge, networks, and non-collateral financial services. Her field experience includes supporting survivors of domestic violence and promoting inclusive learning for children and persons with different abilities in institutional and community settings. In January 2026, she joined Smile Train as a Helpline Officer, making the beneficiaries’ well-being central to her practice.
