Dr. D Mukunda Reddy
MMBS, MS, MNAMS, MCh.
Dr. Reddy is Smile Train Project Director at Basavatarakam Indo-American Cancer Hospital and Research Institute, Hyderabad, and a member of the India Medical Advisory Council. He has more than 45 years of medical experience and has spent 22+ years in leadership positions at various hospitals. He has also served as Professor and Head of Department, Plastic Surgery, at Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS), Hyderabad and was the Institute’s Dean from 2012-2013.
Dr. Reddy’s authored articles have been published in various journals, including the Journal of Reconstructive Microsurgery, and he has led various national international workshops on microvascular surgery and cleft surgery.
Dr. Reddy is the MCh Examiner for various universities and has been the examiner and chairman for the DNB Exam for Plastic Surgery. He was president of Association of Plastic Surgeons of India (APSI) in 2006 and of the Indian Society of Reconstructive Microsurgery (ISRM) in 2008.
