Mr. Kamal Singh

Kamal Singh is currently the Executive Director of Global Compact Network India (UN GCNI), a local arm of the United Nations Global Compact, New York.

He holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management and is an Alumnus of JNU. Prior to joining UN GCNI, he was the Director General at National HRD Network (NHRDN), the largest professional body of the HR profession in India. At NHRDN he was credited with introducing several new initiatives to its basket of activities and made it significantly visible. Prior to that he had a very eventful stint in AIMA; here, he was again instrumental in launching many new initiatives that brought laurels; thereby building the profile and equity of AIMA among its stakeholders.

He is on the Board/Sub-Committees of several organizations and institutions including UN-Principles for Responsible Management Education (UNPRME), Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), AIMS, ISTD, JIMS, Institute of Finance and International Management (IFIM), IILM University, BIMTECH, TERI, DMA, Manav Rachna International University, RKDF University, Jaipuria Institute of Management, Jaipur, Jindal Global University, Independent Director on the Board of Parsvnath Infratech Ltd etc. and on the Advisory Council of premier NGOs.

Winner of several accolades and awards, he works towards contributing beyond business and building the Sustainable Development Index of India and the world as a whole.
